Augmented Reality ~ Using Appcelerator Titanium

It’s taken a while, but I am pleased to announce that the book I have been working on has now been released by Packt Publishing.

It is available in print and ebook and is also available for pre order on Amazon, their release date is 10th November.

The book explains how to create a Location Based Augmented Reality application as is accompanied by a fully working open source application, called augmentedTi, which is available on bitbucket.

I hope the book is useful.

Hi. Thank you for taking the time to put this book together and share your experiences. I purchased the book from Packt and downloaded the code. Everything compiled to device, etc. I have not worked with Google APIs. But I turned on the API within Google, grabbed the API Key which is listed under “Browser” with referrer.
I have tried the app on my device (4 blues showing up) however, I continue to get the E0004 message and I wanted to know if maybe Google API has changed because my assumption is the API key will only work on a webserver that is an authorized referrer you register with Google. If you use an iPhone or Droid it seems to suggest you have to use OAuth only.
If you kindly shed some light on my assumptions before I dig into troubleshooting or trying to incoporate oAuth in your app it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again,
